MANILA, Philippines —Hot and humid weather will prevail over the country on Thursday due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
No weather disturbance is also expected to affect the country this week, the state weather bureau added.
In its early morning weather bulletin, Pagasa said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the weather system.
The easterlies are the dominant weather system during dry season.
No gale warning is currently in effect in the country.
