CHEd, DOH to include tropical diseases in curricula

The Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) and the Department of Health (DOH) have agreed to integrate the study of neglected tropical diseases in the curricula of colleges and universities in the country to equip the country’s future health workforce with updated information.

Neglected Tropical Diseases will be included in the curricula of medicine, nursing, medical technology, midwifery and physical therapy courses. —Jodee A. Agoncillo
