Henares called back to witness stand

MANILA, Philippines–Internal Revenue Commissioner Kim Henares was called back to the witness stand at the resumption of the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona on Monday, the 12^th day of the trial since its started last January 16.

Twenty-one senators were present when Senate President Juan Ponce-Enrile banged the gavel a little past 2:00 p.m.

Henares already appeared and testified in the Senate sitting as an impeachment court in connection with the income tax returns filed by Corona and some family members.
