DFA to authenticate documents online

/ 04:39 AM March 10, 2021

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Tuesday launched an online system that allows applicants who need to submit Philippine documents abroad to secure authentication appointment from the comfort of their homes.

The Apostille Appointment and Verification System allows applicants who wish to submit documents for authentication at DFA Aseana to register for an appointment at https://dfa.gov.ph/apostille-appointment.

Since the Philippines’ accession to the Apostille Convention in 2019, those who want to submit Philippine documents abroad need only apply for an Apostille certificate instead of having the documents authenticated in a foreign embassy or consulate.
