2 drug suspects arrested in Ormoc City yield P720,000 in meth
ORMOC CITY—Police arrested two persons and seized packs of shabu, or crystal meth, worth P720,000 at a village in the city on Tuesday (March 9).
Lt. Rey Baldicano identified the arrested suspects as Jovit Andachao, 29, and Marian Martinez, 19.
Found in their possession, according to Baldicano, were three small packets of meth which they sold to an undercover agent for P100,000.
Found inside Andachao’s bag were 23 more packets of meth and two containing dried marijuana leaves.
The suspects denied owning the illegal substances.
They are now detained a a police station in the city and face drug-related charges.
