Eastern Samar has highest number of vaccination sites in Eastern Visayas
BORONGAN CITY –– Eastern Samar province and its capital Borongan City, has the highest number of vaccination sites approved by the Department of Health (DOH) in Eastern Visayas.
In a statement on Wednesday, the city government said efforts of Mayor Jose Ivan Agda to identify the COVID-19 vaccination sites in the city have paid off as it met the DOH’s COVID-19 registration requirements and timeline.
Vaccination posts have been identified and details will be made available to the public in the coming days.
The city government is targeting 80 percent of its constituents for vaccination to achieve herd immunity.
