LEGAZPI CITY –– Suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P68,000 was seized from two alleged illegal drug peddlers in a drug sting in Naga City in Camarines Sur province on Sunday, a police report said on Monday.

Noel Anciano, 43, the number seven ranking drug peddler of Naga City, and Oliver Lumanog, 40, resident of Barangay San Felipe, were caught selling shabu to an undercover police agent in a drug operation in Barangay Dinaga at 5:45 p.m., according to Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.

Police operatives recovered from the suspects a plastic sachet of shabu weighing 5 grams.

The suspects were detained at the city police custodial facility and are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
