Machines, fake cigarettes worth P30M seized in Bataan
ORION, Bataan — Police and personnel of the Bureau of Customs on Friday raided two rice mill warehouses in this town and discovered machines used to make fake cigarettes worth about P30 million.
The machines and counterfeit cigarettes were discovered inside the Crisostomo Rice Mill warehouse on Camino Road in Barangay Sto. Domingo and the EBG Rice Mill in Barangay Balagtas, both in this town.
Police said the operation was carried out following the seizure on Feb. 25 of other smuggled cigarettes and hundreds of sacks of rice worth P264 million that were being transported from Port of Orion to Metro Manila.
