Fire hits restaurant in SM City Cebu
CEBU CITY –– Fire damaged a portion of the SM City Cebu in Barangay Mabolo, Cebu City past 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 27.
According to the Cebu City Fire Department (CCFD), at 1:16 p.m., they received the alarm about a fire that broke out at a restaurant on the mall’s third floor.
Fire Officer 2 Fulbert Navarro said the fire was put under control at 2:09 p.m. and was completely put out at 2:15 p.m.

No one was injured.

“We have yet to determine the cause of the fire. The investigation continues,” Navarro said in an interview.
Damage caused by the fire was pegged at P400,000.
