The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has turned over more than P16 million worth of laptops to the Department of Education (DepEd). The USAID’s donation of 371 laptop was part of the US government’s commitment to support the Philippines’ Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan during the pandemic, the US Embassy said. The laptops will support ALS (alternative learning system) teachers and coordinators in the field who provide education to out-of-school youth. —Tina G. Santos
