P5,800 in meth seized during arrest of electrician in Calapan buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN – An electrician was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Monday (Feb. 22) in this city, according to police.

The drug enforcement team of the city and regional Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives arrested Antonio Pensocas Jr., 32, at the village of Tawiran. Pensocas is a resident of the village of Tibag.

An undercover agent bought a small packet of shabu, or crystal meth, from Pensocas during the operation.

Seized from the suspect were 11 other small packets of meth estimated to be worth P5,800.

The seized drugs would be tested in a PDEA lab while the suspect had been taken into custody by the Calapan police.
