More foreigners allowed to enter PH

The task force handling the Philippines’ pandemic response has allowed more foreigners with visas to enter the country, but tourists are still not permitted to come here.

In its latest resolution, the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases removed the March 20, 2020, reckoning period in reference to the visas of foreign nationals who would be allowed to enter.

This means those with valid and existing visas at the time of entry would be accepted into the country. —Leila B. Salaverria
