8 Isabela city workers among latest to get COVID-19

SANTIAGO CITY—Eight city hall workers were among the latest to get sick with COVID-19 here, according to the city health office on Thursday (Feb. 18).

Dr. Genaro Manalo, city health officer, said the patients were immediately quarantined.

Four were from the city health office, two from the services office and two from the social welfare office.

At least 50 close contacts of the patients went on home quarantine.

The entire province of Isabela recorded 29 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday (Feb. 17), raising its active cases to 405.
