Ex-drug convict gunned down in Lucena
LUCENA CITY –– Unidentified gunmen aboard a motorcycle shot and killed a former drug convict in this city on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
A police report said fish vendor Joelan Revadulla, 34, a resident of neighboring Pagbilao town, was selling fish at the diversion road in Barangay Silangang Mayao when riding-in-tandem assailants shot him twice around 6 p.m.
The suspects escaped while Revadulla died on the spot. Investigators found two empty shells from a caliber .45 pistol at the crime scene.

Citing court records, the report said Revadulla was arrested on Aug. 6, 2017 on drug charges but was released following a plea-bargaining agreement with the court.
The police also tagged the victim as a former member of a drug group.
