MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police will share with the National Bureau of Investigation the evidence it gathered in its investigation of the death of flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera.

“[The] PNP will share its evidence … with the NBI on Monday,” Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra told reporters, adding that the pieces of evidence included specimens, garments and mobile phones.

Guevarra said after receiving the evidence from the PNP, the NBI would be able to finish its investigation within the week and submit its final report to the Department of Justice.

Guevarra earlier tasked Eric Distor, officer in charge of the NBI, to conduct the investigation.

Dacera was found dead in the bathtub of a hotel in Makati City on Jan. 1, after partying with friends. A medicolegal report said she died of a ruptured aortic aneurysm. But her family insisted there was foul play.
