Borongan’s most wanted captured

BORONGAN CITY—The city’s most wanted person was arrested by police in an operation at the village of Banuyo last Friday (Feb. 5).

Venancio Capones, 45, had a warrant for arrest for murder, three counts of attempted murder and robbery.

He is now detained at the Borongan police station. The Borongan police and intelligence operatives of the Eastern Samar office of the Philippine National Police conducted the operation that led to his capture.
