Magnitude 4.1 earthquake strikes Cagayan

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Cagayan on Tuesday, state seismologists said.
Data from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) showed that the earthquake struck at 10:51 a.m. at seven kilometers northwest of Dalapuri Island.
The earthquake was of tectonic origin, and had an 11-kilometer depth of focus.
Phivolcs said that the tremor was also recorded at Instrumental Intensity I in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte.
No aftershocks or damage is expected from the earthquake, Phivolcs said.
