NTC told to penalize telcos that fail to stop child porn

President Duterte has ordered the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to penalize telcos for their failure to stop online sex predators from victimizing young Filipinos, Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra said on Monday. “[The President directed] the NTC to impose sanctions on internet service providers for failure to fulfill their duties under [the law],” Guevarra told reporters. —Marlon Ramos
