LUCENA CITY – A 73-year-old man became the latest coronavirus disease (COVID-19) patient in San Pablo City, Laguna, local authorities said Saturday.
The 6 p.m. Feb. 6 Covid-19 bulletin issued by the city government showed that the senior citizen, a resident of Barangay VI-E and tagged as patient No. SPC C1143, and a 51-year-old woman from Barangay Bagong Bayan, patient No. SPC C1142, were the latest addition to the list of validated virus carriers in the city since the pandemic broke out in March last year.
Both patients have mild symptoms and had unknown exposures to COVID-19 patients.
The man was admitted to an undisclosed hospital while the woman is under home quarantine.
As of Saturday, San Pablo City, still under modified general community quarantine status until Feb. 28, has logged 1,143 Covid-19 cases and 1,076 recoveries, 31 active cases and 36 deaths.
