MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or “amihan” will continue to affect parts of Luzon and Visayas, the state weather bureau said Thursday.
Cloudy skies with rain showers are expected over the Bicol region, Western Visayas and Samar provinces, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Cagayan Valley, Caraga, and the provinces of Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon, will have cloudy skies with light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas, will not experience any significant impact from the northeast monsoon.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers.
No other weather disturbance is being monitored within the Philippine area of responsibility, Pagasa said.
Party cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms are expected in Mindanao.
