LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested three suspected drug pushers, two of them siblings, in separate buy-bust operations here Wednesday.
The suspects, Jose Ayuso Jr., Edcel Naling, 24, and his younger sister, Judy Ann, 23, were identified in a report by Police Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief.
Anti-illegal operatives collared the Naling siblings after they sold P500 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police officer in a drug deal in Barangay Market View at 7:05 a.m.
The duo, identified as street-level drug pushers, yielded seven plastic sachets of shabu worth P19,176 in the street market.
Earlier, a police team busted Jose Ayuso Jr. in another sting operation in Barangay 4 around 5:30 a.m.
The suspect, also tagged as an identified drug pusher in the village, was caught with five sachets of shabu with a street value of P14,280.
The suspects, all detained at the city jail, are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
