32 drug suspects fall in Rizal busts; shabu worth P624k seized
LUCENA CITY –– At least 32 drug suspects were arrested in separate police operations in Rizal province on Feb. 1 and 2, police said Wednesday.
Colonel Joseph Arguelles, Rizal police chief, said in a report that anti-narcotics operatives seized a total of 91.8 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P624,792 in the street market during the two-day operations.
The police said they arrested 23 drug suspects\ in separate buy-bust operations in the province on Feb. 2.
Four of the identified suspects, Mark Christopher Montealegre, Lloyd Vale, Lloyd Vale, and Ivan Daniel Abrantes, were collared in a buy-bust operation in Taytay town on Monday, Feb. 1.
Later that day, the police also held Rhomel de Guzman, Oliver Bangeles, Jonathan Guting, Amy Tupaz, and Carmelita Marcelo in another drug sting in Rodriguez town.
The police also seized a taxi cab, which the suspect allegedly used in his distribution of illegal drugs.
