BACOLOD CITY—Two motorcycle-riding assassins shot and killed a policeman at a village in Mabinay town, Negros Oriental on Monday (Feb. 1) just after he talked with someone who owed him money.
MSgt. Jeseden Amorganda Carriaga, 54, was in the house of Tobias Villa, a village councilor in Barangay Lumbangan, to talk with someone who owed the policeman money.
When the policeman was about to leave on board his motorcycle, two persons appeared from behind and one shot Carriaga multiple times in the head.
Carriaga was rushed to the Mabinay Community Hospital where he was declared dead.
Found in the crime scene were slugs for .45 caliber pistol.
