Security guard slain in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY –– A 45-year-old security guard was shot dead in Binalonan, Pangasinan on Monday afternoon, Feb. 2, the police said.

Binalonan police investigator Senior Master Sergeant Jaypee Taloban identified the victim as Mark Mesa Dee, a resident of Barangay Bantog in Asingan town.

Dee was traversing the highway from Palaris, Asingan going to Binalonan aboard a motorcycle when shot several times by unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen.

He was rushed to the Urdaneta District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
