Armed men rob courier company in QC; 1 suspect dead in shootout
MANILA, Philippines — A suspect was killed after policemen shot it out with armed men who robbed a courier company on Matalino Street in Diliman, Quezon City Monday afternoon, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) reported.
According to police reports from the QCPD Station 10 in Kamuning, the armed men barged into an LBC branch in Diliman and declared a hold up. Police further said that one of the suspects died after engaging responding police officers in a firefight.
QCPD’s Public Information Office also confirmed the incident in a separate message to INQUIRER.net.
As of now, there are no reports yet as to whether how much the total amount of valuable items or money were taken away from the establishment.
