3 suspected drug pushers busted in Quezon province

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested three suspected drug pushers in separate buy-bust operations in Candelaria and Real towns in Quezon province on Sunday and Monday.

Muelo Milla, 42, was nabbed after he sold a pack of shabu (crystal meth) to an undercover police agent in a transaction in Barangay Bukal Sur in Candelaria around 1:15 a.m. Monday.

The suspect yielded four plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P23,460.

In Real town, police arrested farmers Dario Mercado, 46, and Lougie Buerano, 34, in Barangay Cawayan around 10 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities seized two plastic sachets of shabu worth P3,000.

The suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
