Mauling victim turns gunman, injures 7 in ‘payback’ time
MANILA, Philippines — Seven people involved in a mauling incident in Quezon City after midnight Friday were injured after their victim retaliated — with a gun.
Chief Inspector Francisco Eslao, deputy commander of Quezon City Police District, said that the still unidentified suspect on board his car was flagged down along Masaraga Street corner Kaliraya Tatalon around 12:30 a.m by the group who were apparently drinking and beat him up.
When the suspect managed to escape, he returned armed with an unknown type of handgun and indiscriminately fired towards the group, Eslao said.
He said that the victims sustained gun shot wounds in their body.
The identities of those involved in the incident weren’t available as of posting time.
