Comelec putting up fast lanes for COVID-19 frontliners during voters registration
BACOLOD CITY –– The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is setting up express lanes for medical and other coronavirus disease (COVID-19) frontliners during the ongoing registration of voters.
Commissioner Rowena Guanzon said medical frontliners should present their Professional Regulation Commission card or hospital or local government identification cards.
The registration of voters will end on Sept.30.
The Comelec expects four million new voter registrants for the May 2022 national and local elections, she said.
