Citation tickets to be issued to violators of Covid-19 protocols in Bacolod City

BACOLOD CITY –– Citation tickets will be issued to people who violate the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) minimum health protocols in this city.

The Bacolod City Task Force Disiplina said violators could either go to the nearest barangay hall and render eight hours of community service or the City Treasurer’s Office and pay the fine within 24 hours from the issuance of the citation ticket.

Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran said violators from Bacolod would pay a fine of P200, while those outside the city shall pay P300.

Aside from face masks, the wearing of face shields in public places is also mandatory in Bacolod.

Meanwhile, the Online Health Declaration form for inbound travelers to Bacolod can now be downloaded at https://tinyurl.com/bcdinbound.

A BacTrac ID, which could be obtained at https://bactrac.bacolodcity.gov.ph/, is required for the processing of the Online Health Declaration form, the advisory said.
