LUCENA CITY—Two suspected pushers said to be notorious at a village here were arrested by police in separate buy-bust operations on Tuesday (Jan. 26).
Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said one of the suspects, Jerico Solina, 20, was arrested after selling P500 worth of shabu, or crystal meth, to an undercover agent at the village of Ibabang Iyam around 9:10 a.m.
Police seized six packets of shabu worth more than P17,000 in the streets.
An earlier operation led to the arrest of suspect Anthony Taburdan in another part of the village.
Taburdan, according to police, yielded four packets of meth worth more than P9,000.
Police said the suspects are known pushers at the village.
