MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies and scattered rain showers are expected in Northern Luzon due to the tail-end of frontal system, the state weather bureau said Sunday.
In its 5 a.m. live weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the tail-end of frontal system will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to the Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the low-pressure area (LPA) being monitored outside of the Philippine area of responsibility has dissipated, Pagasa weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
