Fair weekend weather in most parts of PH — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected in Metro Manila and most parts of the country on Saturday, the state weather bureau said.

“Dito po sa atin sa Metro Manila at sa nalalabing bahagi ng ating bansa, patuloy po tayong makakaranas ng magandang panahon, maliban lamang sa mga isolated rainshowers,” Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said in a 4 a.m. live weather update

(Metro Manila and most parts of the country will have fair weather, with chance of isolated rain showers.)

Meanwhile, the tail-end of frontal system is currently affecting Northern Luzon, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos region.

State meteorologists are also monitoring a low-pressure area (LPA), spotted at 185 kilometers west northwest of Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

The LPA, Bulquerin said, has slim chance of developing to a tropical depression.
