165 cops in Laguna infected with coronavirus

LUCENA CITY — At least 165 policemen in Laguna province have tested positive of the coronavirus since the pandemic broke out in March, with 10 of them still battling the disease.

Police Col. Serafin Petalio II, Laguna police chief, said in a Jan. 21 report that the 10 still active cases were currently in quarantine facilities in the province.

The Laguna police office recorded no fatality among the local policemen infected with coronavirus, he added. —DELFIN T. MALLARI JR.
