Fire destroys 10 houses Calbayog City
ORMOC CITY –– Fire destroyed at least 10 houses at the boundaries of Barangays Matobato and Capoocan in Calbayog City around 1 p.m.. on Thursday.
The fire started at the house of Arnel Sese, according to an initial investigation by the local fire bureau.
Faulty electrical outlets was considered the cause of the fire.
The City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council and the local fire bureau put out the fire at 2:20.
Damage from the fire was pegged at P400, 000.
The local government has distributed relief goods to the fire victims through the City Social Welfare and Development Office.
