Over 100 drug peddlers, users nabbed in Laguna since start of 2021
LUCENA CITY –– The police in Laguna province have arrested 108 suspected leaders and members of drug groups operating in the province in anti-criminality campaigns from Jan. 1 to Jan. 14.
A report released Friday by the provincial police said another 185 suspected drug users were also arrested while 2,321 voluntarily surrendered to authorities during the same period.
The police also arrested 102 wanted criminals in different parts of the province and 11 suspected criminal gang members.

In follow-up operations from Jan. 15 to Jan. 17, authorities also collared 83 individuals suspected of involvement in illegal drugs and gambling activities, the report said.
