ORMOC CITY –– A 67-year-old man was gunned down by still-unknown assailants in Calbayog City on Thursday morning.
Harry Rumorh was inside his white Toyota Fortuner parked at the market when two men aboard a motorcycle arrived.
The back rider then alighted from the motorcycle and shot the victim several times, according to Lt. Col Neil Montaño, chief of the Calbayog City Police Station.
In 2018, Rumohr’s niece, Catherine Rumohr-Johnson was also gunned down while buying bread at a nearby bakeshop.
On April 15, 2019, another relative, Dr. Vicky Rumohr, was shot dead by riding-in-tandem suspects while she was driving her pick-up truck in the vicinity of Christian New Life Academy along Magsaysay Extension in Calbayog.
On Feb 3, 2020, businesswoman Ann Rumohr-Dahlen, 46, was also found dead inside her fruit and vegetable store at Magsaysay Boulevard extension, Barangay East Awang.
