DSWD vows to fix delays in delivery of aid

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said on Wednesday that one of its priorities was to look into the prompt delivery of aid to Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) beneficiaries after the Philippine Institute for Development Studies revealed that the CCT might no longer suffice as an extended financial assistance program due to inflation and some 1 million of the more than 4 million CCT beneficiaries experience delays in payments. —NIKKA G.
