MANILA, Philippines — Surigao del Norte was rocked by a 4.3-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
At 8:14 a.m., the quake hit 73 kilometers northeast of Burgos, Surigao del Norte, Phivolcs said in its earthquake bulletin.
The tectonic quake had a depth of 7 kilometers.
Phivolcs did not record any intensities.
Aftershocks or damage is not expected from the temblor, Phivolcs said.
