Manila launches free, by appointment only Covid-19 swab test at Quirino Grandstand

MANILA, Philippines — The City of Manila started offering its free and by appointment only drive-thru reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) swab testing for Covid-19 at the Quirino Grandstand on Monday.

 The Manila Public Information Office said the drive-thru testing will be available from Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

 Only 100 individuals will be accommodated per day.

 Those who want to avail of the test will have to secure an appointment at the Manila Emergency Operation Center through the following numbers: 0905-2423327; 0998-3226367; 0963-6023177; and 0955-5875976.

 Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso earlier said the free drive-thru swab test will be available for both Manila residents and non-residents.
