OSG to close offices as 7 employees test positive
MANILA, Philippines — The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) on Saturday said it would temporarily close its office in Makati City next week after seven of its employees contracted the new coronavirus.
The OSG said its building would be placed on lockdown from Jan. 18 to 20 to allow its employees to sanitize the area.
It said individuals scheduled to submit documents during this period may email these to [email protected] and [email protected]. “Only personnel from the sanitation and disinfection team will be allowed in the premises,” the OSG said.
“All other employees will continue to perform their work/functions under alternative work arrangements. During [the] said period, no documents will be personally received by the office,” it added.
