Ilocos Norte tricycle driver caught in drug bust

LAOAG CITY – A tricycle driver, who was in the Ilocos region’s target list, was arrested at a Friday drug bust, police said.

Jay-ar Reyes, 28, was caught with seven sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P29,000 at a 2:30 p.m. police operation in Barangay (village) 3 Nuestra Señora del Rosario, said Police Lieutenant Colonel Rafael Lero, Laoag police chief.

Reyes has been tied to the “Romel Pablo Drug Group” operating in Ilocos Norte. JOHN MICHAEL MUGAS
