MANILA, Philippines — Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected to prevail over Bicol Region, Mimaropa, and Quezon province in the next 24 hours due to the tail-end of a Frontal System, according to the state weather bureau.

In its weather forecast released at 4 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said flash floods or landslides are possible in the affected areas due to moderate to heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon or Amihan will bring cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the rest of Luzon including Metro Manila.

As for Visayas and Mindanao residents, they can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
