TUGUEGARAO CITY—A 19-year-old student was arrested after he was caught with 35 marijuana bricks worth P4.39-million in Tabuk City on Monday (Jan. 11), police said.

Col. Davy Vicente Limmong, Kalinga police director, identified the suspect as Jayvee Dave Saguilod Paklay who tried to slip past a police checkpoint.

Police chased the motorcycle-riding Paklay who later figured in a road crash as he drove too fast.
