Isabela province has 51 new COVID-19 cases
SANTIAGO CITY –– At least 51 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases had been recorded in Isabela on Sunday, officials said.
Data from the regional health office showed that the latest infections raised to 439 the number of active cases in the province.
The new cases were traced to the cities of Ilagan, Cauayan, and Santiago and the towns of San Mariano, Tumauini, Reina Mercedes, Quirino, Delfin Albano, and Luna.
Among the patients were a returning overseas worker, non-authorized persons, health workers, and policemen.
Isabala has recorded 3,483 COVID-19 cases since March last year with 2,996 recoveries. At least 48 deaths from the disease were also logged in the province.
