PNP records 36 more COVID-19 cases, bringing its total to 9,277

MANILA, Philippines — The total COVID-19 cases among personnel of the Philippine National Police (PNP) reached 9,277 on Sunday as 36 more had contracted the respiratory disease.

Of the total cases, only 326 are actives cases, or those who are still recovering from the viral illness, the PNP said.

Recoveries increased to 8,923 with the addition of 26 new survivors. Meanwhile, the coronavirus death count among PNP personnel remained at 28.

So far, the Philippines has a total of 487,690 individuals confirmed to be infected, of whom 458,198 have recovered and 9,405 have died.
