Ex-Mandaluyong Mayor Benhur Abalos is new MMDA chair

MANILA, Philippines — Former Mandaluyong City Mayor Benhur Abalos has been appointed as the new chairman of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
President Duterte’s former aide and now Senator Christopher “Bong” confirmed Abalos’ appointment on Sunday.

Abalos will replace Danilo Lim, who died last week.
