Año names Napolcom officer in charge
MANILA, Philippines — Interior Secretary Eduardo Año has designated Commissioner Felizardo Serapio Jr. as officer in charge of the Office of the Vice Chairman and Executive Officer (VCEO) of the National Police Commission (Napolcom), the administrative body of the Philippine National Police.
Serapio replaced the late Rogelio Casurao, who died on Jan. 2. Año, chair of Napolcom, formally appointed Serapio on Jan. 5. Serapio will maintain his post until a new VCEO is appointed by President Rodrigo Duterte.
Serapio was first appointed as Napolcom commissioner representing the law enforcement sector on Feb. 11, 2016, for a six-year term of office.
