ZAMBALES—The late Rep. Antonio Diaz has left a legacy of education for dozens of youth in the second district of Zambales.
In a statement, the family of Diaz said the late congressman has earned the tag “father of the Ramon Magsaysay Technological University (RMTU),” the only state university in Zambales.
The statement said Diaz worked tirelessly to fund the education of Zambales’ poor youth in RMTU.
The late congressman’s daughter, now running for her father’s seat in special elections, has vowed to keep Diaz’s legacy alive.
