LEGAZPI CITY—A college student, who yielded some P3.4 million in marijuana, was arrested in Naga City, Camarines Sur province on Friday (Jan. 8).
MSgt. Tobias Bongon, Naga police spokesperson, said Brian William De Luna, 23, was arrested in a buy-bust operation at the village of Concepcion Grande around 2:50 p.m.
Police seized at least 28.5 kilos of marijuana and drug paraphernalia from the student.
Bongon said De Luna was a graduating student at an aeronautical school in Canaman town, also in Camarines Sur.
De Luna was also on the police’s list of drug suspects.
He would be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
