CITY OF ILAGAN—At least 65 new COVID-19 cases were recorded on a single day on Friday in Isabela province, officials said.
The latest infections raised to 3,394 the total COVID-19 cases in the province since March 2020, according to records of the regional health office. At least 391 of these cases remained active.
In the last two days, the province also logged 94 COVID-19 cases.
Most of the cases were from this city, Cauayan City, Santiago City and from the towns of Tumauini, San Mariano, Jones, Luna, San Mateo, Quirino and Ramon.
Among the new cases were those of a returning overseas Filipino worker, persons without authority to be outside their residences, health workers and police officers.
